I pledge to uphold the Objects of Circle K International, to foster compassion and goodwill toward others through service and leadership, to develop my abilities and the abilities of all people, and to dedicate myself to the realization of mankind’s potential.
the objects
  1. To emphasize the advantages of the democratic way of life.
  2. To provide the opportunity for leadership training in service.
  3. To serve on the campus and in the community.
  4. To cooperate with the administrative officers of the educational institutions of which the clubs are a part.
  5. To encourage participation in group activities.
  6. To promote good fellowship and high scholarship.
  7. To develop aggressive citizenship and the spirit of service for improvement of all human relationships.
  8. To afford useful training in the social graces and personality development.
  9. To encourage and promote the following ideals:
To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material values of life.
 
To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.
 
To promote the adoption and the application of high school, business, and professional standards.
 
To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.
To provide through CKI clubs a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities.
 
To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which makes possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill.
CKI Timeline
Circle K concept presented at the collegiate level at Washington State University
1936 1947
First CKI Club chartered at Carthage College, Illinois.
CKI becomes an international organization with the chartering of a club at the University of Western Ontario.
1949 1955
CKI Constitution and Bylaws adopted.
Texas-Oklahoma becomes first district of CKI.
1957 1971
Females welcomed into organization.
CKI membership surpasses 14,500 members
1982
CKI leadership dedicates year as the Year of Service.
1999
Members of CKI surpass the $420,000 mark in the effort to eliminate iodine deficiency disorders.
2000 2005
Marks the 50th Anniversary of CKI

CKI Conventions
CKI conventions are coordinated both at the district and International levels. At these conventions, new programs are introduced, awards are presented to outstanding clubs and districts, the International Constitution and International and District Bylaws may be amended, educational and leadership development workshops are presented, and  district and International officers are elected for the upcoming year. These conventions offer the members opportunities to meet CKI members within the district and around the world.
Society of Distinguished Collegians
The Society of Distinguished Collegians (SDC) recognizes members who strive for excellence in academics, service to their campus and community, and who possess the commitment to strengthen CKI.
Service Recognition Award
The CKI Service Recognition Award (SRA) is designed to recognize members from each district who have had a significant impact in the area of service to their campuses and communities.
